Born and brought up in Scotland, Jon was involved in the F&B sector for over 20 years before moving to Hong Kong into the beverage trade. With over 10 years in the Hong Kong beverage trade, he has accumulated a number of academic qualifications, including:

• WSET Level 3 in Wines Merit
• EWA (Ediniburgh Whisky Academy) Diploma in Single Malt Whisky
• EWA Diploma in Gin
• SSI International Kikisake-Shi Japanese Sake Sommelier
• EWA Certificate in Irish Whiskey
• EWA in American Single Malt Whisky

Current position as Head of Sales for Hong Kong Umaya Trading Company Limited, sourcing superb quality of wines, spirits, sake amongst others to the Hong Kong trade and private market. Also on the Hong Kong Wine Judging Association as part of the judging panel.
