Participants can enter the Competition by submitting an Entry Form or entering online, paying the Entry Fee, and delivering the Entry to the Competition warehouse. Entries that do not arrive by the entry deadline cannot be refunded or credited.
No refund or credit of an Entry Fee will be given in any circumstances, including circumstances in which an Entry is disqualified, withdrawn, lost, or damaged, or does not arrive in time.ASR will not refund or re-ship the samples/ bottles if the entry is cancelled by the participant. No Refund or Re-ship of samples if changed later once samples are delivered. If the samples get returned, ASR is not responsible, and hence no refund will be processed.
Clearly label each box of spirits using the delivery label, which can be downloaded once you have entered and paid for your spirits in your account.
If you send your spirits directly to our warehouse, you must tick the option: ‘Duties and Taxes payable by shipper'. If the above is not completed, we cannot guarantee that the spirits will not be stopped in Customs and arrive on time for the ratings. Asia Spirits Ratings is not responsible for tracking the shipping of your spirits. Please ensure everything is in order before sending your spirits.
INSTRUCTIONS IF SHIPPING FROM OUTSIDE HONG KONG
It is best to use your a liscenced Freight Service. Please ensure to stick the Event Label, Packing List and Non Commercial Invoice having overall value less than HKD $2000. Please ensure the shipment to be Delivery Duty Paid (DDP), any customs duties is to be borne by the Shipper. Send e-copy of Non Commercial Invoice and Packing List to us prior shipment. Please note, warehouse and event organiser or any of the vendors are not responsible, liable for the loss of goods, tracking and customs release nor for delay, damage of goods. Please also ensure the overseas sender to send a maximum of 12 bottles with total cargo value must below HKD 2,000 per single shipment.
All duty, shipping costs, and taxes must be prepaid by the submitter of the samples. spirits must be Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), therefore, instructions to complete the import declaration should be given to your forwarder/courier company. please choose ‘shipper accepts all charges’ on the documentation provided by your courier company. Submitters should also be responsible for any fees related to the import declaration. spirits cannot be accepted by our logistics partner if the charges associated with shipping have not been paid. Any penalty and additional cost incurred from the non-compliance of the declaration requirement in HK will be borne by the Submitters.
ASR and its logistic partner will not take responsibility for spirits damaged or lost whilst in transit. If, for reasons beyond the reasonable control of ASR, it is necessary or advisable for the ASR to be canceled, ASR cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss of profit, damage, return or expense of any kind incurred as a result of such a cancellation.
For the ASR Judges to taste your products, they must arrive on time. If your samples do not arrive in time for the ASR, they will not be able to be blind tasted or placed by the Judges. No refund should be provided.
The purpose of the License to Print was primarily arranged for the convenience of Winners who have larger quantities of bottles to add their ASR Medals. Large-scale usage of License to Print enables Winners to save manpower to add to all bottles by hand, and/or they can arrange their printing more efficiently without needing to find a machine that can attach stickers with the exact dimensions that ASR Medals are issued at, which can be time-consuming/not easily accessible. ASR Medal's showcase winning spirits and spirits to buyers who are seeking the all-important ASR stamp of approval. Whether you are the Producer, Distributor, Importer, or Retailer, now is your chance to celebrate and boost sales.
The Organiser shall not be liable for delay or failure of performance concerning cancellation or postponement of the show caused by an act of God, action by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity, fire, flood, insurrection, riot, explosion, embargo, strikes whether legal or illegal, transportation interruption of any kind, or any condition beyond the control of organisers ("Force Majeure Events").
Winners are welcome to use the ASR artwork on marketing materials related to the winning products with no restrictions if it's used for marketing material, presentations, website, press releases, trade shows, and any other marketing purpose. For usage of the ASR materials on Bottles or Packaging/Boxes, winners order either ASR Medal Stickers or the ASR License to Print. Both have no time limit for usage and are based on the quantity ordered.
